Even the most basic of duties can be difficult for a puppy to complete successfully. The morning newspaper was retrieved by one tiny German Shepherd puppy who was keen to show himself to his owners by retrieving the newspaper all by himself.
A video has surfaced showing the lovely puppy in Florida attempting to complete his new task of picking up the SunSentinel newspaper from the end of the driveway, which has gone viral. He struggled at first to hold the large piece of paper in his small mouth for more than a few seconds because his small mouth was too small to effectively grasp the paper.
Once he was confident in his grasp, he began to race up the driveway, happy with himself for his efforts… but it didn’t take long until he lost his grip once more. With his tail wagging, the determined dog picked it back up and strutted his way up the road towards his waiting owners who were waiting for him inside.
Following his fortunate arrival at the front door, the eager puppy cried and scratched at the door, holding the newspaper tightly in his mouth. He sat and waited with a proud expression on his face until he was let inside with the other canines.
