Jen Deane, a rescuer, received a call about a litter of 5-week-old puppies that had been abandoned by their owners and were being housed in a public shelter. Jen felt she had to move quickly to ensure the puppies’ safety and adoption into loving homes.

Jen intended to pick up the puppies and take them to the vet for a checkup. It’s something she’s done in the past. What she didn’t expect was to witness something she’d never seen before. The puppies were all tan in color and had large, pointed ears. But there was one exception. This one has ears that reminded me of miniature cinnamon cakes! The ears curl inwards towards one other, resembling small tan flowers. Jen is the president of a rescue group called “The Pit Sisters,” and she says the puppy’s unusual ears are something she’s never seen before, and they only add to the cuteness of the dog she’s named Cinnamon.

Many people fell in love with Cinnamon and her ears after Jen shared her photos on social media. People compared them to Princess Leia’s buns and “Victory Rolls,” a 1940s Hollywood hairstyle popularized by starlets. Cinnamon’s ears rapidly became viral, with thousands of people liking and sharing her pictures. That turned out to be a good thing. She and her brothers have been adopted thanks to the publicity!

Cinnamon is secure, healthy, and joyful with her new family. She has three canine brothers and sisters to keep her company, and she’s living the high life while flaunting those unusual ears! Please like and share if you think Cinnamon’s ears are fantastic!
