Posted on July 3, 2022July 3, 2022 by CuteDog

In India, stray dogs are a major problem. They are numerous and can be seen wandering the crowded streets in search of food and shelter. Some of these dogs are simply born on the streets, but the majority of them are given up by their owners when they decide they no longer want them. The majority of these abandoned canines suffer from a condition or impairment.

The World For All Animal Care and Adoptions organization, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, created this campaign to highlight the struggles that stray dogs face. Almost 7 million people have watched the heartbreaking film “#AStreetDog’s Life,” which depicts a stray dog with a GoPro strapped to him. The cute puppy spends the majority of his time running through crowded streets, being mistreated by people, and, during quieter times, rooting among the trash.

Although the number of stray animals has never been precisely counted, World For All Animal Care and Adoptions reports that Mumbai’s most recent record for the number of stray dogs was 5000 in 2005. These figures have since significantly decreased as adoptions and spay/neuter procedures have gained in popularity.

These stray canines suffer from heat, and finding fresh water is difficult. They typically drink from muddy puddles or contaminated rivers and lakes because of this. It is distressing to see young, ill, or crippled animals endure suffering while making valiant efforts to survive.

These creatures suffer from human violence rather frequently. Sadly, they don’t receive any medical assistance after being battered and abused to the point of need. Animals frequently suffer from blindness and other disabilities, making it considerably tougher for them to survive in the dangerous streets. One of the most difficult things for a stray dog to obtain is food. The only options available are digging through trash, thieving, or praying for a nice bystander.

Automobile-related fatalities and traffic accidents are serious issues. These cities have a lot of cars, and most of them don’t care about or even injure stray animals, so they would move out of the path. Changes must be made to the environment to allow animals to cross the street unafraid and safely.
