There are a lot of dogs in shelters, and their only goal is to be adopted into a permanent family. Sadly, some puppies may have to wait longer than others. Many dogs are frequently passed over by potential adopters in favor of younger, more conventionally adorable puppies, whether it’s because of their breed, age, appearance, or health problems.

But occasionally a sympathetic somebody appears and offers their heart to these dogs. A little girl of just 2 years old showed great kindness to a pit bull at the shelter by adopting him. Audra Spurio never imagined that her 2-year-old child would be attracted to a mangey and ill pit bull when she brought her to the shelter to get a dog. But the young child persisted, feeling that the dog needed a little affection and care.

Audra told The Dodo that her kid wanted to see her rather than any other dog. “Leave the dog outside. need help,” Gigi added. Ultimately, the girl’s desire was granted, and Gigi brought the pit bull outdoors to play. While the dog was frightened and timid, the youngster showed love and patience throughout.

The dog’s circumstances would have “grossed out” many kids, but Gigi simply saw a companion that needed her assistance. The youngster offered the dog belly rubs and kisses as they played outside, showing that the two developed an immediate and genuine attachment. Audra remarked, “I observed this terrified puppy melt in G’s hands.” She insisted that my kid stays by her side at all times.

Gigi begged her mom to bring the pit bull home so she could care for her. Fortunately, the young girl’s desire came true. On that particular day, she fell in love with the struggling pit bull, who is now known as Scarlett and is currently living in her new home. According to Audra, Scarlett is now at home and feeling much better. And even now, “she absolutely won’t let G out of her sight.”
