Sad Shelter Pit Bull Reaches Out His Paw For Anyone Willing To Help Him

Posted on July 17, 2022July 17, 2022 by CuteDog

Like many other shelter dogs, JJ was a dog who yearned for attention. In a remote rural shelter outside of Dallas, Texas, JJ nevertheless discovered a way to make an effort to be noticed by holding out his paw to passersby. The pit bull, who was just nine months old, was recently rescued from a Dallas dog dump. This road is heavily traveled, and many of the abandoned pets are hit by passing vehicles. JJ, though, made it through.

Although it was good that JJ was removed from the streets, a dog would not enjoy living in a shelter. There are just six kennels in the tiny shelter, which is frequently disregarded, and it was concerned that nobody would adopt him.

The shelter needed to make room after two weeks. JJ was thus added to the list for euthanasia. Fortunately, Marina Tarashevska, who frequently visits the shelter to help network the pets, noticed the pit bull puppy. JJ was blind and deaf, and the animal control officer told her that he wasn’t eating. The dog appeared lost when it was taken out of the kennel and rushed around its feet low to the ground as if expecting to be hit.

However, when Marina prepared to leave, JJ reached out to her after being put back in his kennel. She told The Dodo that the boy was “throwing his paw out and begging to be saved.” “It was extremely depressing since that shelter is so terrifying… and he was completely lost inside. To leave a dog begging in such a way is the most painful thing.

Then, seeing that he was running out of time, Marina enquired as to whether Dallas DogRRR might help pull him out. They consented, and JJ was driven to a veterinarian before being housed in a foster home. They assume JJ has a traumatic history because he is still very reticent and shy. Although he is very affectionate and kind, if you approach him too quickly, he becomes frightened and staggers a little.

At his foster home, where he runs around the backyard and takes lengthy walks, he gets better every day. He enjoys munching on snacks and biting on toys. JJ loves affection above all else. He only wants to be held and cherished!

The adorable boy will remain in foster care for a while longer, and Dallas DogRRR intends to have an animal behaviorist analyze him. Before being placed for adoption, his hearing and vision will also be evaluated. They want to match him with the ideal family.
