Ember the Pit Bull returned the favor almost a year after she was adopted by assisting a young child in a medical emergency!
Ember was adopted by the Daniels family from Adore-A-Bull Rescue in Cincinnati in June 2014, and she quickly created a unique bond with Tre Daniels, who is 10 years old. Ember, a once-homeless street dog, quickly became a treasured family member, and it wasn’t long before she realized what a unique dog she is.

Tre’s mother told Ohio’s Local 12 that the family was asleep when Ember sat next to the bed and began making a low grumbling noise early in the morning. “It wasn’t a growl,” she told the news station, “it was just this unusual grumble.”

Ember would not stop yelling until Tracy stood up and followed her down the corridor. Tracy was escorted to the bathroom, where she discovered her son in the bathtub. She says in the video, “I saw Tre’s legs dangling over the side of the tub there.” “And when I peered into the tub, half of his body was out, half was in, and his head was fully extended back.”

Tre was having a seizure of some sort! He had no recollection of falling into the tub, but he was transported to the hospital by medics. Doctors performed tests, and everything came back normal, so Tre is now back at home. His loyal pal remained glued to his side and looking after him the moment he returned!
It’s amazing to watch how a dog who was once abandoned and homeless on the street can blossom into such a wonderful family member!
