The majority of people would not assume that cats and dogs had any similarities. Furthermore, they would not have imagined that cats and dogs may genuinely exhibit similar behaviors. Those who have previously owned both animals, however, are aware that they frequently take up small tendencies from one another. The Dodo quoted Bethany as saying, “We jokingly say that we didn’t pick him, he picked us. He had his back against the cage when we arrived at the rescue center, so we started petting him. When he looked over his shoulder and made eye contact with us, we instantly fell in love with the little boy.

Mako adapted nicely to his new life’s schedule and with the presence of two cats. Mako was eventually welcomed into the family by Pecan and Gizmo after some time of patiently introducing the animals to one another. The pit bull was happy to have buddies, and he wanted to spend as much time as he could with them. With all the time they spent together, Mako soon started acting more like a cat. He started behaving like a cat, climbing onto the tops of cabinets and tables, for example. The biggest surprise, though, was when he was able to climb into the refrigerator!

When Mako notices the boys sitting on the counters or cabinets, he jumps up to join them, according to Bethany. All he wants is to always be among the kitties. He is usually with the cats if one of us humans is not in the room.

But he also has other cat-like characteristics. Mako is known to play like a cat in addition to climbing in odd places. His owners claim that he enjoys playing with cat toys and frequently chases and jumps after them much as a cat would. Additionally, he frequently sits on top of tables with Pecan and Gizmo to watch the birds and gaze out the window. That is just adorably cute!

Even though it’s odd to have a dog who believes he’s a cat, his family doesn’t mind because they still adore him. And that is all that counts.
