Introducing Nana, a border collie! Nana is a YouTube celebrity, an animal artist, and an incredible trick dog and friend all around. This dog has been practicing astonishing things since she was brought home as a nine-week-old puppy.
Nana is proficient in almost all dog tricks. There is nothing this dog can’t do, from the stunning foot stalls and walking handstands (also known as paw stands) to the extremely impressive balancing acrobatics. She also enjoys showing off some incredible obedience moves, agility, and cool frisbee catches that most typical pet owners can only imagine.

Nana is only trained via clicker training and positive reinforcement. Training is just another game she may play with her favorite person, in her opinion. Trick training is one of several ways to satisfy the great need for mental activity and learning that Border Collies have. Nana is an extremely cheerful dog who genuinely enjoys her “doggie job.”
Most of Nana’s stunts may be seen in the video down below when she is just 2 or 3 years old. She performs a variety of incredible tricks in the clip, including walking backward (on both four and two paws), walking with a fake limp, picking up coins and putting them in jars, riding a skateboard, blowing bubbles, balancing on her owner’s feet (also known as a footstall), and many more!

Additionally, she is skilled in all the adorable party tricks, including weaving between people’s legs, crossing her paws in time to her trainer, covering herself in a blanket, acting dead and hiding her eyes, and dancing with her owner. She has learned more tricks at such a young age than most dogs learn in a lifetime!

At age 10, Nana significantly expanded her trick portfolio and mastered her amazing balancing tricks. In the footage below, she balances anything from dog treats to books to glasses of water while performing walking handstands, looping through poles, and standing on her rear legs. This is one of her more recent (and increasingly difficult) balancing tricks.
