Baloo soothes Henry’s separation anxiety, and Henry gives Baloo his back (or his head, which is Baloo’s favorite area) to lie on during lengthy journeys. They enjoy doing everything together, and the moments they share are truly unforgettable.
Thankfully, Henry and Baloo’s mother Cynthia is a skilled photographer, so we can sit still and admire their wonderful images on the internet even if we can’t be there to see their beautiful moments in person. People have no idea that both of them had been adopted from animal shelters. Henry was the first dog to accompany Cynthia and Andre on hikes when they adopted him when he was just over three months old in 2014. Henry was the perfect match for the pair, who were searching for a strong, vibrant, and energetic companion to accompany them on their trips.
Baloo, the new addition to the little family, was born in 2017. Initially, things were difficult. It took the couple three months to locate Henry the right companion to help him cope with his mental illness.
Cynthia was a little worried about Henry’s reaction in front of his new friend, but it turned out she had nothing to be concerned about. After each trip, they grow to love one other even more, and their incredible friendship isn’t about to end!
