After being found more than 310 miles from his home, a missing dog and his determined owner are reunited in the following story. Bandit, a 1-year-old Malinois Shepherd, has vanished from his home in Côte d’Or, France. Farid, Bandit’s owner, was devastated by his loss and spent months searching for him. The kind Samaritan discovered Bandit at the side of the road eight months later.
Only four months after his birth, the poor dog was kidnapped. Bandit was discovered without a collar 310 miles from his home. Fortunately, Bandit was fitted with a microchip that allowed him to be reunited with his owner. We’ve planned a reunion, and we’ll need such stories and films. Bandit and Farid look forward to reconnecting and remaining together for many more years thanks to the animal shelter’s tremendous lifesaving efforts, the good Samaritans, and the microchip.

Farid rushed to get Bandit right away. “I am grateful to everyone who helped make the reunion a success. The necessity of microchipping your pet cannot be overstated. “One of the happiest days of my life was bringing Bandit home,” Farid remarked. It’s a moving and beautiful reunion for the entire team, Bandit, and the owner, as you can see in the video below. For more information, watch the video and share your comments with us.
