Dogs exhibit the cutest behaviors. We already witnessed it with one doggo who gained fame for choosing the fluffiest puppies in the daycare to take naps on. Similarly, Ruby, a German shorthaired pointer who demonstrates her compassion for other dogs by touching them, has become an internet celebrity.
The first version of the video featuring Ruby, a German shorthaired pointer, was uploaded to TikTok before the end of March 2020 by @alanahlorraine. At the time, Alanah Lorraine was employed at Ruby’s daycare. Someone reuploaded the video to the r/aww subreddit on Reddit not too long ago, giving us another opportunity to take pleasure in the puppy who wants to make friends with everyone.
Ruby is seen petting a golden retriever, another German Shepherd, a dog with a fluffy coat, and a shaggy black dog in the footage. What a sweet and sociable little lady! Ruby’s activities frequently cause the pets at the dog daycare to act puzzled, surprised, and confused. The looks on their faces are priceless! And yet, they still appear to appreciate it when Ruby pets them.
We can only speculate as to why Ruby behaves in this manner. Perhaps this is how she ensures that she will be paid attention by the other dogs. It’s possible that she’s trying to imitate the pets she has at home. Regardless of the circumstances, we think it’s awesome, and judging by the millions of views that the video has received on TikTok and other social media platforms, everyone else thinks too.
After going viral for more than a year and a half, we can only hope that Ruby is still having a good time, both giving and receiving lots of pets.
