If you’ve ever had trouble getting out of bed and heading to work, watching this video of a police dog going through the same feelings will make you laugh and feel better about yourself. Cassie Costin, who lives in Maryland, sent this hilarious video of her husband Officer Ryan Costin’s struggling to get to work on time. Officer Ryan Costin’s K9 companion, Jango Fett, refused to get into the car unless he was given a belly rub first.
Cassie added that after her husband left for work and walked out the door, he texted her to let her know that he was ready to leave but that Jango was not going to let him go. Jango was not having it. When she did so, she saw her husband attempting to get the dog into the vehicle, and she immediately began filming the situation. She later watched the footage and laughed at how funny it was.

Because Jango is often “a pretty active dog,” Cassie subsequently shared with Storyful that she thought it was weird to see him lying down. This goes to show that even working dogs have mornings where they just don’t feel like doing much of anything.
