Each of us has a personal obsession. Cats are possessed by the need to capture the little red laser dot. Dogs also have a range of obsessions of their own, including balls, goodies, and even squirrels. Out of all the creatures that dogs can pursue, there is just something about squirrels that causes them to become overly excited.
Additionally, there was a sweet little Jack Russell terrier who would go completely crazy whenever she saw a squirrel. Her owner, of course, was able to capture the cuteness on camera, and we are so grateful that they did. The boisterous small terrier named Callie enjoys chasing squirrels. She is so enamored with the fuzzy rodents that she even loses her mind at the mere thought of squirrels! Watching how angry she becomes at the mere word is so endearing.
Like most dogs, Callie enjoys chasing after objects. She is a Jack Russell, and although small, she is incredibly spirited. Her breed was developed especially to be working dogs that assisted farmers in catching mice. It also makes perfect sense why she loves to chase squirrels whenever she has the chance, even if she isn’t a working dog herself. It’s hilarious to see her response when her owner asks if she’s seen the squirrels.
The cute little dog is shown in the video being handled by her owner. He asks her, “Callie, did you see the squirrels?” frequently, playing on her fondness for them.
The puppy then casts a longing gaze off into the distance. She gets more and more irritated that she can’t chase the squirrels as he keeps asking her about them, and her groans morph into barks until she is fully enraged and ready to go after a squirrel.
