There are many animals that have a strong maternal instinct, not simply human moms and their offspring. There is a powerful mother instinct in animals, which compels them to guard and nurture the young of other species as if they were their own offspring. When animals from different species take in orphaned young members of other species, it is a really heartwarming sight to witness. It just goes to show that a mother’s instinct to care for and guard her child is unrivaled by anything else in the world.
A video was taken in the streets of El-Hajeb, which is located in Morocco, and it captured the most adorable sight. A stray kitten, desperate for the love of a mother, found itself in the company of a mother dog. This dog didn’t seem to mind the fact that the young kitten she was taking care of wasn’t her own and continued to do so without hesitation.
In the video, the dog was quite patient as it waited for the kitten to finish nursing from her while it was sitting calmly on the sidewalk. Even though it was obvious that the tiny kitten was starving, the mother dog didn’t appear to be in any hurry to send it away.
