It is not always simple to expand a family. However, meeting his new kitten sibling made Martin, a rescue dog, joyful. Although Martin was the only animal in the home when the new kitten arrived, he wasn’t accustomed to being by himself. His Labrador sister and closest companion Alma went away just a year ago. Martin’s mother Emilia Ivan informed Dodo that the loss of Alma caused him to experience some depression. “He was depressed and alone.”

Ivan knew she had to give the small cat home and the attention she deserved when she learned that she had been abandoned in a neighboring field. Ivan was hesitant to introduce Martin to the new kitten at first. Ivan, though, noted that “the first day they met, that was love at first sight.” Martin immediately cuddled the kitten and gave it lots of wet licks during their first meeting. Ivan said, “He took care of her.”

Ivan and her boyfriend discovered the second cat, this time abandoned in their yard, not long after bringing the first kitten home. Ivan stated, “We believed she was abandoned by someone since they saw we had another kitten. She was afraid and lonely. Martin gave the second kitty a hearty greeting. Martin became one of the kittens’ close ones as they easily integrated into his family.

Ivan remarked, “He was very watchful and cared after them. He behaved as though they were his daughter and he was their mother. Martin’s sadness was somewhat lessened by the kitten’s presence, as Ivan and her lover also observed. Ivan remarked, “He almost seemed to like them.” As a result, witnessing Martin interact with the kittens deepens their love for him in unexpected ways.
Ivan remarked, “I’ve always loved Martin, but now that I see how attentive and loving he is with the kittens. It’s incredible.
