Another holiday season has come and gone, and at this point, you should be well aware of what this entails because it has already happened once. Because you’ve been going to all of your relatives’ get-togethers, indulging in good food, and not doing much else besides that, you’ve probably put on a few extra pounds. More than at any other moment in the year, we dread being forced to step back onto the scale at this point in the year. And the dog in the video that comes after it is completely able to understand and feel what you are going through.
The Golden Retriever named Scout finally makes his way over to the digital scale after a prolonged break for the holidays. And let’s just say that what he discovers doesn’t exactly fill him with joy! Following what seems to be a long time of stunned staring, he eventually answers in the same way that the rest of us do.
Because Scout is convinced that the reading on the scale cannot possibly be correct, she loses her calm and starts to tamper with it to “fix” it. She does this because she feels that the reading on the scale cannot possibly be correct. There is simply no way that he could have put on such a significant amount of weight!
You find yourself laughing at this, don’t you? This dog, who stands for all of us, is going to get the new year started right. Because of this, I can’t help but wonder if Scout has set any goals for himself to accomplish in the coming year.
