I am fortunate to have people that I adore and on whom I can count. I have old pals I’ve known since I was a kid, as well as new friends I’ve made as an adult. Over the years, we’ve gotten ourselves into some amusing situations, but one thing is certain: we’ve always helped each other out. After all, isn’t that what friends are for? We’ve always managed to be there for each other in difficult times.

While there are numerous indicators of a strong friendship, being willing to lend a helping hand or show up when required are two of the most important. This Newfoundland can tell you what’s going on!
Mom gets her camera while out on a sunny day at the beach in this lovely video. Her young daughter is splashing about in the shallows with their gigantic Newfoundland dog. Big slush buckets are these floppy fluff balls. They are gregarious creatures who dislike being alone. They are kind, yet can be clumsy and have a strong sense of independence. They’re great friends and make great family pets, like this cute clip shows.

The pup watches the small girl and huge dog splash around in the water while they are having fun. Everything is well, and he’s acting as her lifeguard until a wave comes crashing in. It’s not a particularly large wave, but it’s large enough to take her off a surprise and knock her down for a few seconds. She’s fine, and she’s still giggling, but the dog isn’t amused.

The enormous fluff ball decides he’s had enough and grabs her by the tuft of her t-shirt for her protection. Then he brings her out of the water gently and cautiously. The girl is giggling hysterically, but her pal is not amused. He doesn’t want to stay to see what might happen if another wave appears. No way, sir. He wants to make certain she is safe. That’s what I call a good friend!
