Despite how much we like them, our dogs often lack the flexibility that cats possess. When they are putting anything in their mouth, however, there is an exception. For practically everything, my dog was a bull in a china shop when it came to activity, but when it came to catching a tennis ball, she was always 9 for 10. And if the thing you threw at her was food, you can be sure that she wouldn’t waste a single piece of it.

The majority of dogs are like that; when playing fetch, they will have honed their mouth-eye synchronization. And although they may occasionally miss if it’s the food they’re after, they nearly never do so when it’s a treat or another type of food piece. When it comes to snatching food into their jaws, dogs are like ninjas. Unfortunately, one Golden Retriever never learned to catch treats in the air with the same exquisite coordination as most dogs.

Fritz may not be gifted in that way, but his clumsiness has certainly helped him become quite popular. And this pup’s lack of coordination is adorable beyond words. Fritz has amassed a sizable fan base because, unlike other dogs, he is unable to catch food in his mouth, and people adore watching this dog’s food miss the mark. But he makes an effort, and many people are drawn to him because of his sincere hustle.

The owner of Fritz, Evan, even recorded his dog’s clumsiness in slow motion, which just makes the whole situation funnier! View it in the video down below:
