Cheddar, a Golden Retriever, lived a typical life for eight years before passing away. He was raised by a family that doted on him excessively out of their boundless affection for him. On the other hand, everything changed the day that one of his owners was given a cancer diagnosis. Because of this, the family was unable to devote the necessary amount of time or cash to Cheddar’s upkeep, so they decided to place him for adoption. However, it wouldn’t be too difficult for him to locate a new home where he could spend the rest of his life.
When Cheddar first arrived at his new residence, he noticed something about the neighborhood while he was out on a stroll. Cheddar had an instant connection with the elderly woman when the pair stopped to say hi to their next-door neighbor. Now Jean and the Golden Retriever are inseparable and have become the best of friends. The dog has a daily visitation requirement for her and even throws a fuss if he is unable to do so.
Cheddar will take hold of his leash and begin to move in order to signal to his owners that he desires to go for a walk and visit Jean. Even if they go in a different direction, the dog will continue to pull on the leash in the direction of Jean’s home. Cheddar and Jean have a connection that none of them has ever spoken about. However, love does not require an explanation!
