“Yes, Storm is in the building,” Canadian weather reporter Anthony Farnell remarked during his live show as his dog grabbed center stage.

Storm, the dog of Global Toronto meteorologist Anthony Farnell, made a visit on-air, and fans loved it!
The little Goldendoodle disrupted Farnell’s live broadcast last Friday, searching for treats in front of the green screen and blocking some of the weather reports.

In a viral video of the lovely occurrence released by Global News, the reporter added, “Yes, Storm is in the building, enjoying some treats, walking on thin air.” Throughout a considerable portion of the weather section, the inattentive fluffy dog sniffs around for snacks.

Farnell’s ability to continue the weather broadcast despite the interruption seemed to impress viewers.
“I love how the weatherman didn’t even pause to acknowledge the dog’s presence. And congrats to Storm for being silent. If they are ignored, most dogs will bark. Professionally done, “one fan remarked.
“I’m not sure I caught a single word of what he said,” one laughed, “Storm had my full attention, lol.”
“All TV news programs should be required to have random dog cameos,” one commenter joked.

Storm has his own Instagram account (@stormtheweatherdog), and his account manager tweeted a headshot of the dog wearing a red Global News bandana after the viral broadcast last Friday.
Storm is well-known to international Toronto viewers, as Farnell often takes the dog to work.
“It’s nice to have him with me since it’s better than leaving him home alone. Knowing that my dog is happy and with me makes working the long days much easier. He always offers me a much-needed break, whether it’s by simply being there for a quick snuggle or forcing me to get some fresh air during the day “In 2019, the meteorologist told Pawsh Magazine.

“He has his pattern,” Farnell told the site, “that includes a tour of the entire news station going desk to desk begging for snacks.”
“The drawback is that I’m sure he’s gaining weight because at least a dozen other colleagues now bring in their dog goodies for him,” he added.

Storm has made other viral appearances, such as when he interrupted Global Toronto reporter Leslie Roberts during his evening news show in 2012.
