Not every hero wears a cape. Some of these heroes are implausible, but they are deserving of recognition. There are several examples of how dogs have aided people in need. Recently, one dog took the initiative to become a hero. After saving an elderly woman from a fall, he is now being recognized for his bravery.

Milo, the dog, was a former shelter dog who had been adopted by Makayla Swift. The dog is already happily settled in his new home in Silver Spring, Maryland. Milo is a very sweet puppy who likes people and is cute and gentle, according to Makayla’s grandmother, Lavelette White.
However, when he rushed to the aid of an elderly neighbor, he demonstrated that he is a very wonderful dog. The story goes like this: Makayla was walking her dog down the street when he dashed across the street. Makayla had no chance of catching him.

He began clawing the front door of their next-door neighbor, Sherry Starr’s, house. Makayla was initially perplexed as to why the dog was attempting to get into her home, but as she got closer, she heard her neighbor calling for assistance. Sherry, 85, needed assistance since she had collapsed in the morning after hearing the doorbell ring.
She was caught on the floor between her toilet and bathtub after falling into the bathroom. Sherry recalls slipping while standing between the tub and the toilet. She stated that she was afraid she would die there. Fortunately, Makayla was alerted by the smart dog, who heard her cries and dialed 911.

Soon after, paramedics arrived to assist, and the senior woman was lifted from the floor. PETA, an animal rights organization, recognized the dog for his bravery. For his life-saving rapid thinking, he received the ‘Heroic Dog Award.’ Milo, you’ve done a fantastic job! He is a truly clever dog who saved his neighbor’s life.
