It’s common knowledge that dogs like the thrill of an exciting life, but did you also know that they are incredibly loyal and useful companions to their human masters? Therefore, this active puppy decided to be as helpful to his dad as he possibly could, but he managed to catch him off guard a little bit in the process.
Vince Matteson adores his pet, and the two of them participate in a wide variety of hobbies together. However, some of these pursuits are not designed with a canine companion in mind, such as climbing on the house, for instance. As it turns out, it is pretty difficult for a dog to keep still, especially when his human is working. This is especially true when the dog’s human is moving around. Therefore, when Vince wanted to take down the Christmas lights that they had hung about the house for the holiday, his four-legged friend Ace decided to lend him a helping paw. However, he managed to catch his father off guard to some extent.
Vince explained to The Dodo that as he was removing the lights from the roof, he had headphones on at the same time. “I was looking in the corner of my eye when I noticed something, and as I turned back, I saw Ace on the roof! I was completely taken aback by that.
Naturally, Vince at first felt that it was a joke played on him by his roommate, but in reality, it was nothing at all like that. “Ace is a rambunctious, fearless, and outgoing puppy. Vince explained that his son simply wanted to know what his father was up there on the roof.
Vince stopped everything he was doing and raced to help his spirited dog get down, so he grabbed the curious pup and delivered him to his housemate. Vince’s main concern was for the dog’s wellbeing, so he acted quickly. When asked if he believes Ace has learned from his mistakes, Vince gave an incredibly candid response: “He would do it again in an instant!”
