Officers conducting a search on the residence of suspected drug traffickers in Brazil received some unexpected assistance when it came to unearthing important evidence during the operation.
It turns out that a little dog that lived in the house knew something that they didn’t know about the situation.
The Mato Gross Federal Police have released video footage that shows the moment a dog who lived with the suspects began pawing at a location in the ground outdoors.
This seemed to have piqued the interest of the police, who decided to investigate further. And, as reported by Globo News, the authorities discovered a secret package containing narcotic tablets in that location.
The police discovered guns as well as a considerable amount of cash in addition to the drugs. Three persons were taken into custody. However, by assisting in the discovery of evidence, their furry housemate appears to have gained the respect of authorities. They made the decision to take care of him.
It’s unclear whether or not the department currently has a position available for a new drug-detection dog. The chances of this small boy winning are slim, but it’s not impossible.
