A man was walking down the street when he was stopped by a stray dog. The day was bitterly chilly. He could see the dog’s suffering in its eyes and chose not to flee from the possibly harmful animal. This man, unlike many of us, felt he had to do something to help this wonderful puppy, no matter what it was that she required. While many of us may have been afraid, he knew he had to help. What he was unaware of was the fact that she was a parent.
He suddenly understood why she had turned to him for assistance as she guided him back to a frozen ditch. Her puppies had become trapped in a drain and were at risk of hypothermia. The man needed to respond immediately.
He tried to call for the tiny ones, but they flinched and moved away from him when he got too close. The quick-thinking rescuer placed the mother in a secure location in the back of his vehicle, where she would be warm, and set out food for the puppies while he was on the stand.
But when it wasn’t successful, he had to be even more resourceful. He carefully removed the pups from the frozen pipe using a broom as a tool. The three canines were finally in his possession.
Following the successful reunion of the family, the person who rescued the dogs took all four of them to the shelter where they could get well. And in a touching gesture of gratitude, the mother planted a passionate kiss on her savior. The four animals grew up healthy and strong while being kept out of the cold, and finally, all four dogs were placed into loving homes where they could be comfy and adored.
