A dog who was being housed at a shelter was discovered sobbing uncontrollably after learning that her best friend had been adopted.
Marshmallow, a deaf Pit Bull, and Scooby, a dog with whom she shared a kennel, have been the best of friends for a long time. The two had known each other for close to a year while they were both residents at the Unleashed Pet Rescue in Kansas. They were inseparable. You can see how much fun they had playing with each other in the picture that is provided below.
But when a caring family decided they wanted Scooby instead of Marshmallow, Marshmallow was abandoned in the kennel. Marshmallow was found by the employees at the shelter sobbing inside her kennel while also clinging to her toy and lamenting the absence of her roommate.
Marshmallow is suffering from emotional trauma, and the only thing that will mend her shattered heart is to find a safe and loving place to call home. The employees at the shelter provided her with reassurance and comfort by sitting with her and offering her toys.
The employees at the shelter did all in their power to locate a suitable home for Marshmallow. And after only a few short weeks, Marshmallow was eventually taken in by a loving family! Marshmallow and Scooby have finally located the homes in which they will remain for the rest of their lives.
