Dogs and cats are frequently regarded as adversaries. The media frequently pits these two mutual friends against one another, yet this isn’t always the case. In certain cases, dogs and cats can truly become great buddies!
Lisa Olsen-Plummer wasn’t sure how Bo the Beagle puppy would react around her two cats, Jasper and Juniper when she adopted him. She was, however, taken aback when she discovered that Bo and Jasper shared a special friendship that would go on to inspire the internet.
When Bo first came to his new home, he was both young and cautious. He didn’t know how to react to his new surroundings. Jasper and Juniper, on the other hand, were even more dubious of their new sibling.
The cats took some time to get acquainted with Bo. Olsen-Plummer figured they’d just get along fine, but she never expected one of the cats to develop feelings for the puppy. Especially not Jasper, the cat who was the most skeptical of the two.
Jasper initially kept a safe distance from Bo. He kept his gaze fixed on him, as though debating whether or not the small dog could be trusted. Then one day he discovered Bo was a great dog. As a result, he approached Bo and wrapped his paw around him, as if hugging him. The two have been inseparable since that time. Juniper, on the other hand, prefers to keep her distance.
After recording a touching film of Bo and Jasper’s connection, Olsen-Plummer realized it was unique. Jasper is seen in the video sitting on the back of the couch, gazing out the window. When Bo notices him, he leaps up beside him.
Bo landed exactly next to Jasper and immediately wraps his paw around him. He probably remembered Jasper “hugging” him as a kid, and he wanted to repay the favor. The two of them then sat like this for the duration of the film, birdwatching happily together.
