Every day, Fronky, a Bull Mastiff, performs the same ritual. Every morning, the dog stands outside the door, begging his mother to let him out. After that, he sits and waits in the front yard. Fronky waits for his best buddy, a mailwoman named Shaun, to arrive. Fronky has been close friends with Shaun since he was a seven-week-old puppy. The two adore each other, and Fronky’s day is never complete without seeing Shuan.
“When she is at her vehicle, grabbing all her packages and getting ready to come to our house, you see his tail wagging so fast,” Fronky’s mother, Eileen, told The Dodo. Fronky is now a 180-pound dog that could easily leap over the front yard fence if he so desired. Fronky, on the other hand, is a decent boy who always stays on his side of the fence. Fortunately, Shaun still gives him plenty of pets and cuddles!
Shaun had a chocolate lab who died, according to Eileen.
Fronky, she believes, provides her with the puppy cuddles she craves. “I believe just having this small break with Fronky calms her out and gives her something to anticipate,” Eileen added. Fronky and Shaun are true best pals. Shaun will occasionally visit Fronky on her days off. “Shaun has become a member of our family,” Eileen explained. “She usually forgets to come by, and we look forward to seeing her every day… And Fronky is completely out of control as soon as he hears her voice.” Fronky’s affection for Shaun is unusual for his breed, according to Hill’s Pets.
“With family members, Bullmastiffs are gentle and affectionate. Their calm, easygoing personalities make them ideal pets for families with well-behaved youngsters. When a stranger enters the picture, though, the bullmastiff’s laid-back attitude towards family members is likely to alter. People outside the family tend to make these dogs distrustful.” States The Dodo.
The most logical answer appears to be that Fronky considers Shaun to be a part of his family. How lovely! Eileen stated of Fronky and Shaun, “I like that it’s a mutual affection.” “As a result, they’re both looking forward to it.” Fronky is a sweet big dog with a fantastic best pal.
