Jean Fernandes, a Brazilian, was strolling down the street when he noticed a dog weeping in the street. According to the local news source Globo Rural, it appeared that this vulnerable creature had been struck by a car, and the driver fled, causing him great anguish. Fortunately, the eleven-year-old hero isn’t content to stand by and watch the dog suffer. He knew he had to act quickly, so he dashed into the street, halted traffic, and then scooped up the dog and carried him to safety.
